How To Help
Sponsorship
Education is more than acquiring knowledge and developing a skill set; education is commonly linked to high self worth and dignity; financial stability and independence; good health and strong self sufficient families and communities. Education is a lifetime gift that will never lose its value
The Daniel Orjiako Foundation is pleased to introduce the ‘Education Sponsorship Program’. This Program provides a unique opportunity to provide a hard working student the gift of education through sponsorship*. We are pleased to discuss these programs in further detail and answer any questions you may have, please contact Melissa Thurston at 781 696-0295.
Education Sponsorship consists of two separate and distinct programs including:
Education Program Sponsorship: Your generosity will provide a student with the opportunity to participate in a three year Summer Residential Program in Math, Science and English language. This program consists of interactive Math and Science classes administered by former professors and directors. The goal of the program is to elevate the students’ knowledge and skill level and is designed to prepare students to take their JAMB (college entrance exam in Nigeria) and to gain entrance to college. The cost of the Education Program is $350 per student per year.
Scholarship Sponsorship: Students that excel in academics and are successful in the college preparation program are considered for full undergraduate scholarships in the amount of $1,200 for room and board in federal/state Universities in Nigeria. Your generous contribution of $1,200 can make a difference in the life of one graduate of the Summer Residential Education Program.
